This happens most commonly with being in close enough contact where an infected individual breaths, coughs, or sneezes upon you and it lands upon your mouth or nose. Otherwise, you have to touch a surface, before it has been cleaned and sanitized, that an infected person has coughed or sneezed upon AND THEN TOUCH YOUR MOUTH OR NOSE.
